More than 150 NICU "graduates" and family members celebrated at SoutheastHEALTH's NICU Reunion on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Discovery Playhouse in Cape Girardeau."

SoutheastHEALTH neonatologist Paul A. Caruso, MD, and members of the nursing staff greeted the families who had a great time exploring the child-friendly exhibits, including Southeast's "Healthy Beginnings" OB exhibit where kids displayed their "doctoring" skills. A "prince" and several "princesses" added to the festivities.

The reunion also served to celebrate SoutheastHEALTH's new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The unit of eight, single-family suites opened this summer, along with the renovated well-baby nursery and family waiting room.
