Opportunities to enjoy music this weekend

The last performance of the fall season for Tunes at Twilight will be held tonight.

Allie Farris will provide the music entertainment starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Common Please Courthouse Gazebo.

Tunes at Twighlight, a popular event in Cape Girardeau's downtown, is hosted by Old Town Cape and sponsored by SoutheastHEALTH, Fox 23 KBSI and Cape Air.

If you want to hear more music, you'll have a couple of opportunities as part of the Southeast Missouri State University Family Weekend.

The New Student Showcase will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Bedell Performance Hall at the River Campus. Freshmen studying theater and dance and transfer students will perform.

On Sunday afternoon the Symphony Sampler, a free performance, will be held in the Shuck Music Recital Hall. At this concert you'll have a preview of the performances ahead this season.

There's plenty going on this weekend, including much music, theater and dance.

You can see more events on Page 2A of today's Southeast Missourian and online at semoevents.com.
