You're being watched

Do you want the government to know when you turn on your blender? How about the temperature of your air conditioner and heater? Do you want the government to know when you run the exhaust fan in your bathroom? How about the temperature in your refrigerator?

In the name of protecting the environment, your Federal government is working to gather all this information on what you do inside of your home.

The 4th Amendment to the Constitution states that, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

...meaning that this effort by the Federal Government yet another Constitutional overreach.

On August 19th, 2014 at 6:30pm, the Cape County Tea Party (CCTP) will hold its open monthly meeting at the Cape Girardeau Public Library. The meeting is called the Third Tuesday Tea Time and is held on the Third Tuesday of each month to continue the work to complete our Mission as stated below.

At this month's meeting, CCTP will be joined by Kelly Pascucci who will educate us on this latest and ongoing unconstitutional effort by our Federal Government. Kelly engaged in this level of activism when she realized the outrageous violations of American's privacy, safety and health. Feeling the walls of her home were being invaded by an electronic government intruder, it was time to commit the time and energy into making a difference. Kelly is a Missouri native, a college graduate, and a personal trainer.

We hope to see you Tuesday August 19th 6:30pm at the Cape Girardeau Public Library for this informative discussion!
