Girl Scout Troop 8231 in Chester, Ill., made blankets for babies in Saint Francis Medical Center's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as a service project. Several of the girls, along with their troop leaders, visited the Level III NICU to donate their baby quilts and learn more about how Saint Francis cares for its tiniest patients. The troop is made up of six scouts: Brooklynn Adams, Emma Bryant, Kylie Fortner, Jordanna Frazer, Abby Horn and Maria Nickel. Troop leaders are Alisha Guethle and TIffany Bryant.

April Bond, BSN, RN, CLC (left), NICU discharge coordinator, and Danielle Liley-Torbet (right), development officer, Saint Francis Foundation, accepted the donation on behalf of the Medical Center.
