American Cancer Society Receives Donations

June 30, 2014 (Cape Girardeau, MO) -- Isle® Casino Cape Girardeau recently presented the American Cancer Society a $3000 check from funds raised by employees for Relay for Life.

"Our Community Aces volunteer program encourages employees to be active in the communities where we operate," said Lyle Randolph, Isle Casino's general manager. "As part of the program our employees raised funds for Relay and took part in the event held on June 14."

The American Cancer Society also acknowledged Isle's $2,500 sponsorship of Relay for Life and its $15,000 in-kind donation toward the American Cancer Society Gala to be held on August 23, 2014.

"We're very honored to partner with the Isle," said Kelli Schenimann, Specialistof Community Events with the American Cancer Society. "Isle employees have been very involved with the success of our gala and Relay For Life events for the past two years now."

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminshing suffering from cancer, through reserach, education, advocacy, and service.
