During the week of June 22 - June 26 131 children came together to Imagine and Build with God at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The VBS, led by Deneke' Murphy Director of Children's Ministries at Centenary Church, learned that ordinary things become extraordinary when put in the hands of God. Rivet the Worker Ant explained ways to Imagine with God, Build with God, Grow with God, Work with God, and Walk with God. With the help of 41 volunteers, Centenary Church led the children through music, crafts, storytelling, recreation, snacks and lunch and while learning to Gear Up with God. Centenary's VBS is held every summer and is a free event that is open to the community.
