WASHINGTON -- Support for embattled Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki eroded Thursday, especially among congressional Democrats facing tough re-election campaigns, even as Shinseki continued to fight for his job amid allegations of delayed medical care and misconduct at VA facilities nationwide.
