Thanks for tax-cut endorsement

I would like to thank the editorial board for its objective consideration of SB 509 and the veto override.

It is clear that you took the time to not only understand the legislation, but acknowledge the reality that talking points motivate both sides of an issue.

Unfortunately, it seems the talking points carry the day and the facts are ignored more often than not.

SB 509 is a proposal that would put more money back in taxpayers' pockets, start indexing our out-of-date tax brackets that have been in place since the 1930s and perhaps, more importantly, control the size of government as our economy grows.

Again, thank you for your position and approach to decision-making.
