Dr. Mike Cowan was recognized as FBLA Administrator of the Year

Dr. Mike Cowan, principal at Cape Central was recognized as an FBLA Administrator of the Year at the 2014 Missouri FBLA Leadership Conference held on April 13th, 14th, and 15th in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Cowan was nominated the Theresa Taylor, Cape Central FBLA adviser and Aaron Mehner, Cape Central FBLA president. In the nomination letter Ms. Taylor states, "In a big school, clubs could easily get lost behind athletics but not at Cape Central. Dr. Cowan makes sure we get the attention we deserve. And he understands the academics involved in FBLA and supports our activities and competitions."

FBLA is a career and technical student organization for all high school students participating in business programs. Over 3,760 members and advisers representing 450 chapters throughout the state met at this conference along with ten students, a staff member and the adviser.
