NEARLY PERFECT SHOES TURNING 25 -- A REASON TO SAY THANK YOU!

Nearly Perfect Shoes is celebrating its 25th Anniversary.

Founded by Alan and Jeannine Kaufman in 1989, Nearly Perfect Shoes is a family owned business that has continued to pride itself on 'Everyday Incredible Prices' to customers throughout Southeast Missouri. The company maintains the same core values as the day it started with strong product savings, selection and a consistent commitment to its patrons, community organizations, local teams, schools, charities and various partners.

'It all started in Advance, MO,' said Kaufman who has spent his entire career in the footwear industry. 'Jeannine and I wanted to establish a niche and provide branded footwear for the family at strong price points that everybody could take advantage of. After 25 years, we wanted to say thank you for shopping with us -- we're very honored!'

The current four store chain and warehouses (Jackson, Cape Girardeau, Dexter & Poplar Bluff), are constantly supported by teams of quality and driven employees who are dedicated to providing the optimum 'Nearly Perfect' experience.

In honor of celebrating its recent landmark, Nearly Perfect Shoes will be running a 'Customer Appreciation' event- starting at 9:00am on Friday, March 14th, 2014. 'Buy 2 pair -- Get the 3rd pair free' is the theme and will include all footwear in every store for each member of the family.

The company will also be running a contest on its Facebook page and website (www.nearlyperfect.com) -- giving away several $25.00 gift certificates during upcoming / select dates.

'From a timing standpoint, the event will be very beneficial for our valued customers, especially after a long, drawn out Winter,' said Kaufman. 'We have a great selection of sandals, dress and athletics -- plus cleated product for those playing soccer and baseball.'

Courtney Rigdon, Retail & Operations Manager at Nearly Perfect started with the company in 1996 while in high school as a part time employee. 'I like how our foundation and culture have not changed over the years, it's great seeing repeat and first time customers supporting our local small business locations. The promotion and contests will be a natural way to transfer into Spring as well,' Rigdon acknowledged.
