Fran Scholl CAP-OM speaks to Girardot Chapter IAAP

Fran Scholl CAP-OM, Senior Administrative Assistant in the School of University Studies, Southeast Missouri State University presented a seminar and discussion to the Girardot Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) on January 21. An active member of Girardot Chapter and former lieutenant colonel of the United States Air Force, Scholl called upon her experience and research in the area of Succession Planning to present her seminar. She discussed the importance of Succession Planning, both personally and professionally. She tied Succession Planning into Career Development, identifying ways to enhance hiring, supervising and many other aspects of a position.

Scholl discussed the importance of continuing professional development and engagement in all positions, especially when seeking a promotion.

Members with Certified Administrative Professional and/or Organizational Management certification received one recertification point from this continuing education event. The International Association of Administrative Professionals is an organization for any administrative professional that is seeking professional growth. IAAP is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 28,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide.
