The Bollinger County fall festival will start Friday night Sept. 27 with a 50's Sock Hop Dance, followed on Sat. Sept 28 by a parade at 9am. Activities at the Ball Park after the parade include music, games, clowns, kiddie tractor pull, story time, crafts, vendors, food, petting zoo, and much more fun!

There will be a Civil War presentation at the Bollinger County Museum by Glen Bishop and the return of Kota the escaped Triceratops (watch for Kota in the parade before her return to the museum Sept. 28), visit the historic Massey Log Cabin and Wicecarvers Store.

Other festival weekend activities include the Cat Ranch Roundup for art and Rendezvous encampment fun. Eat delicious Chicken & Dumplings at the Senior Nutrition Center and Barks Plantation 16th annual Rural Heritage Days.

Festival Fun continues on Sunday, September 29 with the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History open from 12p.m. to 4:30p.m. Welcome in the fall season with a trip to the Bollinger County Museum "Where the Past Springs to Life." See amazing dinosaur exhibits up close, explore the Ice Age, track wild animals to their lair, observe the dinosaur eggs in the incubator from the movie Jurassic Park 3, and many more fascinating exhibits.
