Junior Achievement receives grant

Junior Achievement of Southeast Missouri received a grant in the amount of $2,495 from Ronald McDonald House Charities to support its classroom programs. The classroom curriculum teaches economic and personal finance concepts and skills to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Ronald McDonald House Charities supports not-for-profit children's programs in the areas of education, health and social well-being and the cultural arts. The local chapter awarded more than $250,000 in grants to projects in the tri-state area in 2012.
