SEMO MBA

The Southeast Missouri State University Master's of Business Administration program recently received an impressive designation as one of the "Top 30 Online MBA Programs" in the country. This was among 8,000 MBA programs.

SEMO was ranked No. 26 on the list. According to the university's news release, this ranking considered several factors, including academic excellence, student engagement, selectivity and strength of faculty.

Earning a degree online has grown in popularity, but it's important to find the best fit for the student based on time constraints, type of study and the school's reputation for academic rigor. Southeast is succeeding in these areas, offering students a marketable graduate degree.

While the online program is deserving of recognition, the on-site MBA program also serves students well. Students on campus can choose from among several options, including accounting, health administration, financial management, environmental management, industrial management, entrepreneurship, sport management and general management.

Having top academic programs is important to the economic success of this area. While degrees are not the ultimate factors in success, they can provide foundational knowledge and interpersonal learning experiences that will help students in the workforce.

Having a successful program depends on a number of factors and individuals, including the faculty. We extend our congratulations to each on the recognition.
