The Jackson R2 Elementary Schools have received a grant in the amount of $2495 from the Ronald McDonald House Charities to purchase iPads for the kindergarten and first grade reading program. The iPads will provide one-on-one reading curriculum and help students develop strong reading skills.

RMHC supports non-profit childrens' programs in the areas of education, health and social well-being, and the cultural arts. The local chapter awarded over $250,000 in grants to projects in the tri-state area in 2012.
