Ratings story missed schools

As a loyal print subscriber of your publication, I was disappointed in your recent coverage of local school districts current accreditation ratings. Scott City Schools also received the highest accreditation status possible, "accreditation with distinction." However, there was no mention of that in the headline (or within the article itself) unless you already knew what you were looking for, or could "read between the lines." In fact, it was almost as if the reporter failed to recognize this, or that there was an obvious bias toward Jackson or against Scott City. With there being a mere 1.1 percent difference in the two schools' scores, one would think the headline could have read, "Jackson and Scott City ace school accreditation ratings," or "Scott City aces accreditation ratings again this year."
