Give scouting a chance

I wear several hats. Full-time job, part-time pastor, dad, grandpa. But my work with the Boy Scouts is as important as any other. I have seen my boys becoming leaders (my oldest son is 13); I have watched them learn everything from becoming a good resident to saving a life. Boys who have never been to church pray before meals. Some who have never had a father learn what it takes to be a good one.

All Scoutmasters, Cubmasters and den leaders are volunteers. We spend our own money for uniforms, training, etc. Sometimes we pay the way for others. We do so because we have seen what the scouting program can accomplish. Want to find your boy a better chance? Do what I did and give scouting a chance.
