Coming into focus at the Mississippi River overlook

Tyree Wright frames up a tight shot of roses near the Mississippi River overlook Monday in Cape Girardeau. "I'm trying to get bugs and flowers," Wright said of his afternoon photo outing. Wright, who is an avid painter and drawer, will use the photos to make a collage. His favorite subjects are "wildlife and natural stuff." He also said the photos are helpful to paint a still life.
