Got a call from some of my airport buds last Saturday morning, letting me know that we had a Hawker Sea Fury parked on our ramp !

The WWII vintage British Fighter had dropped in for some fuel and oil, and stayed around long enough for me to get there and take some photos.

Hawker designed and built many Fighter / Attack aircraft. The most famous perhaps, being it's "Hurricane" which, during the Battle of Britain, fought alongside Supermarine's VERY famous fighter, the "Spitfire".

The Sea Fury was designed as a carrier-based aircraft, and was also operated from runways.
