Five area girls high school swim teams raised $1,490 for Saint Francis Medical Center's Dig for Life program. Dig for Life provides free mammography screenings for women unable to afford them. Students from Cape Central High School, Jackson High School, Poplar Bluff High School, Saxony Lutheran High School and St. Vincent de Paul High School in Perryville sold pink T-shirts for their "Splash Out Cancer" swim meet. Poplar Bluff won by selling the most T-shirts. Presenting are Linda Decker, Maddie Siefert, junior at Cape Central; Brittany McArthur, senior at Jackson; Sierra Rau, freshman at Saxony Lutheran; Katilynn Rathe of Poplar Bluff; and Korrin Tilley.
