Children are a blessing

Jeremiah 1:5 tells us: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you ..."

It is not man and woman who create babies; it is God himself. Man and woman have to cooperate, yes. But it is God who does the conception. When we use artificial contraception or sterilization or abortion-inducing drugs [ACSAID], we are saying no to God.

No Jesus, you are my Lord and Savior, but when it comes to how many children I have, you are wrong and I am right. No, God, I would rather have my toys than have the blessings you give as children.

There are literally dozens of scripture passages to support this doctrine set up by Jesus and still taught by the Catholic church. Kimberly Hahn [author of "Life Giving Love"] found this out when she was in a protestant theology college. Until 1930, all Christian churches taught that ACSAID was a sin. How can man change doctrines taught by Jesus?

Sounds like more "traditions of men."

Does the Lord bless those who follow his ways?

Divorce in the U.S. is around 50 percent.

Divorce by couples who do not use ACSAID is less than 5 percent.

Divorce among couples who use natural family planning as taught by the Catholic church is less than 3 percent. Yes, less than 3 percent.

Sounds like a blessing to me. [Source for statistics: 89.1 FM radio Dexter.]

Do you trust his judgment enough to put him in control of your life? Or are you smarter than he is?
