'Art for the Health of It' Award Winners

The 2013 "Art for the Health of It" exhibit opened with a reception on Sunday, Feb. 24, at Southeast Hospital. Pictured from left: Juror's Award winners Wendy Cooper, Linda Hutson, Brenda Seyer and Vicki Outman, Best of Show winner John "Cowboy" Lynch, Arts Council of Southeast Missouri Vice Chairman Peter Nguyen, Juror Caroline Kahler, Arts Council Executive Director Murielle Gaither and Joyce Miller of the SoutheastHEALTH Marketing Department. The winning entries are among 36 pieces of art displayed outside the Surgical Waiting Room on the Hospital's first floor. SoutheastHEALTH and the Cape Girardeau County Medical Society and Alliance provided prizes for the juried exhibit. The artwork, most of which is for sale, will remain on display until April 25.
