Redhawks Will 'Pink Up' Show Me Center on Monday

Redhawks women's basketball team will wear pink uniforms in honor of breast cancer awareness on Monday evening.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The Southeast Missouri women's basketball team's senior night game on Feb. 25 will have a good cause at its heart.

In addition to honoring four seniors, the Redhawks' game against Tennessee Tech will be their Pink Up Night to raise funds for their fight against breast cancer. Southeast will be wearing pink jerseys for the game, which begins at 6:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game and paid admission to the contest will benefit Saint Francis Medical Center's Dig for Life charity. Specifically, the funds will go toward providing mammograms for women in need.

Prior to the game, there will be a Ladies Night Reception at 5 p.m. in the Show Me Center meeting rooms. Admission to the reception is free with a ticket to the game. The reception features complimentary wine tasting (courtesy of Primo Vino), free appetizers, chair massages and more.

Pink Up Night is sponsored by Saint Francis Medical Center.
