Sunrise Streetlamp

This photo was taken at the SEMO River Campus walking trail along the river one cold winter morning just as the sun was rising. The solitary street lamp was still burning, perhaps acting as a beacon for the folks from Illinois who were crossing the bridge. It went out moments later, its work done for another night.
