CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault.

* Joshua L. Borders, 32, of Jackson and Kamece S. Brown, 21, 1015 Village Drive, were arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of endangering the welfare of a child and stealing at Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway.

* A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of false declaration and stealing car adapters and press-on nails at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* David L. McClain, 32, 716 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for assault.

* Christopher S. Dutton, 27, of Jackson was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for two counts of failure to appear for improper registration and failure to appear for operating an unlicensed vehicle.

Summons

* Clayton Russell Uptain, 22, 145 China Blue, was issued a summons for a leash law violation.

Assaults

* Assault was reported.

* Assault was reported.

Burglaries

* Burglary, theft of an EBT card, medications, damage to a door, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported at 1012 N. Frederick St.

Theft

* Bi State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
