Jonathan McFall scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Scott City boys basketball team slipped past visiting Perryville 54-50 Tuesday night.

Jesse Sanders added 15 points and six rebounds for the Rams (4-4), Ryan Brock contributed nine points and eight rebounds.

Colin Schirmer paced Perryville (2-5) with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Nate Kinnison added 15 points and Garrett Martin recorded six assists.

Ryan Below scored 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked six shots in leading the host Blue Jays past the four-time defending Class 1 state champions.

"I told them from beginning, if we play our game, we're good enough to win, and that's what we did." Oak Ridge coach Adam Stoneking said. "I'm really proud of the guys. They really earned it."

Jaylen Porter led the Braves with 12 points, while Larandis Banks had 10.
