Local unemployment rates in 2012

Nearly every Southeast Missouri county saw declining unemployment rates in 2012. The national unemployment rate in 2012 fell from 8.8 in January to 7.9 in October. Here's a look at local unemployment data from the first ten months of 2012 as reported by the Missouri Economic Research and Information Center.
