SIKESTON, Mo. -- A dozen Sikeston residents were arrested Wednesday after a public disturbance Sunday.
Officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety responded to a disturbance with gunshots Sunday in the William Street and Clayton Avenue area after receiving information that a fight involving several people had broken out at Westside Liquor at 889 W. Malone Ave.

The man, identified as Russel Lee Davis, 45, of Sikeston, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
