Score of 59 wins Habitat tournament

The team of Lewis Bock, Tom Froemsdorf, Paul Giebler and John Harding shot a score of 59 to win the Championship flight of the Habitat for Humanity tournament at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Janice Lumsden, Todd Lumsden, Nelson Ringer and Brian Rivenberg shot a 63 for second place.

Brian Amsler, John Hamby, Don Landewee and Dyke Miller were third with a 65.

The squad of Justin Keen, Brent McMinn, Kyle McMinn and Nathan Brown captured ‘A' flight with a score of 68.

Billy Thompson, Terry Venable, Craig Raney and John Broussard were second with a 69.

Walt Wiseman, Justin Kertz, Ryan Essex and Kevin Greaser placed third with a 70.

Closest to the pin winners were Todd Lumsden (No. 5), Mike Slye (No. 8) and Don Landewee (No. 13).

Justin Keen was the men's long drive winner on No. 16 while Ann Dombrowski was the women's long drive winner on No. 16.

Russell Berger had the longest putt on No. 18.

Stoverink, Cook, Grady, Rose win

The teams of Wesley Stoverink/Lachelle Cook and Randy Grady/Terrie Rose won recent SEMO Horseshoe Association tournaments at the Leopold Knights of Columbus.

Stoverink and Cook prevailed Sept. 22. Randy Senciboy and Kelcee DaVault were second, with John Keller and Ron LeGrand third.

Grady and Rose proved victorious Sept. 23. Perry Seys and Lachelle Cook placed second, with Jason Rains and Ron LeGrand third.

Dombrowski, Kidd Metheny nab title

Ann Dombrowski, Ernie Kidd and Bev Metheny won the Nine & Wine three-lady scramble at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Alice Temm, Barb Stribling and Betty DeWitt were second, with Deanna Estes, Robin Davis and Kim Thompson third.

Closest to the pin on No. 5 was Alice Temm and closest to the pin on No. 8 was Ann Dombrowski.

Low team putts on No. 12 went to Ann Dombrowski, Ernie Kidd and Bev Metheny.
