'2016' movie

Everybody that's of voting age should go see "2016: Obama's America," and then we should all start praying that he gets out of office and God will bless America again.

Paying taxes

Quick question. If Mitt Romney said he wasn't going to worry about the 47 percent who pay no federal income tax, does that mean he's not going to be concerned about the 55 percent of large corporations that don't either? Thanks.

Bike license

All vehicles traveling on city streets should be registered, licensed and insured, including bicycles. I remember buying my bike license in another city many years ago.

Obama's attendance

According to the White House calendar, President Obama did not attend any intelligence briefings a week before Sept. 11. His last attendance was Sept 5. Thanks so much for your protection.

Romney tells us what we want to hear. Trouble is he doesn't remember his stand on the issues. I believe it's called flip-flopping. Thank you.

Money, corporations

We must amend the U.S. Constitution so that money is no longer considered speech nor corporations people.

Bike license: Many of the cities that formerly had bike licensing program have dropped them in the last couple decades. Whatever minimal value is provided by licensing bikes (primarily recovery of stolen bikes) is vastly overwhelmed by the administrative & enforcement costs.

Paying Taxes - I don't know. Write him a letter and ask him.

"And even though 2016 is rife with basic factual errors and logical inconsistencies, and steps on its own anti-Obama message with moments of unintentional comedy, the faithful that the movie preaches to love it, warts and all."

Could it be said any better?

It's whatever you say it is.

The movie 2016 is a page taken right out of the Josef Goebbels play book. The Nazis used to make that kind of film all the time. In the last election cycle,, a similar disgraceful rag was made about President Bush. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now.People who go to see this type of propaganda flick aren't looking for truth, and already know who they are voting for.

'2016' movie: Who would pay to see a political ad, just watch TV and who'll see plenty for free.

Paying taxes: We wouldn't have a problem with taxes if everyone and every company would be subject to a "Flat Tax".

Bike license: Why not, while the police are patrolling the grade schools parking lots they can also check out the bikes.

Obama's attendance: Don't you think that he was giving the info by telecommunications....come on people don't let politics of both parties fog your minds.

Flip-flopping: Both candidates tell the voters what they want to hear and both flip flop.

Money, corporations: I'm reminded of the golden rule...He who has the money makes the rules.

Paying taxes: No one should suffer the loss of their productive efforts through paying taxes. A claim on a man's earnings is subjecting him to a life of slavery.

Bike license--Instead, how about getting license plates on these monster Bubba-trucks running around making irritable noise, spewing clouds of black smoke and terrorizing anyone unlucky enough to be in their path with no way of identifying them if there is an incident. It is unbelievable they are allowed to travel with no identification on their vehicle.

On Dec. 10, 1953, the first Playboy magazine was released. Which well-known woman was the first playmate?-- Posted by Rɨck on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 10:17 AM

Rick: Now that's an easy one....Marilyn Monroe.

Rick: I only heard of it, didn't actually see it.

Rick, the Cape PD had bicycle officers a few years ago, but I think they have done away with the program. Not sure why.

-- Posted by Cyclista on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 12:57 PM

Recent interaction between cyclists and the PD suggests that helping cyclists is not on their list of priorities.

Some people will believe anything a HITLER-TYPE PERSONALITY has to say, then they scream and cry for help after it is too late. Instead of BELIEVING everything CNN says, why not do a DEEP RESEARCH on your own.

Oh and I would NEVER vote for a man who says he 'Will stand with his muslim brothers before he would stand with the United States'. Those who do are OBVIOUSLY misguided
