High school roundup: Kelly shuts out Sikeston to stay undefeated

The Kelly softball team improved to 10-0 with a shutout of Sikeston on Friday.

Winning pitcher Alexis Dock had six strikeouts and issued just one walk in the circle and added a triple at the plate for Kelly in a 10-0 win over the Bulldogs.

Samantha Ratledge also tripled, while Stephanie Worth, Sydney Vinyard and Kristi Brucker added doubles for the Hawks.

Oran 4, Saxony Lutheran 3

Oran needed nine innings to get past Saxony Lutheran at home.

Anna Jones was the winning pitcher. Bailey Carlyle had two hits, including a double, for the Eagles (7-2).

Ashlyn Collier and Logan Welker each had an RBI hit for the Crusaders.

Notre Dame's Maggie Beussink shot a 43 at Dalohusie Golf Club to help the Bulldogs best Carbondale.

Erin Margrabe scored Eagle Ridge's only goal in a 9-1 loss to Tower Grove. Caleb Cerney had seven saves in the game for Eagle Ridge, which dropped to 3-4 this season.
