Dove hunters can take limit in only one state

Wednesday, August 29, 2012

Hunters may take the dove limit in only one state, the Missouri Department of Conservation said in a news release Tuesday.

"It is illegal to take dove limits in multiple states and Conservation agents will enforce the laws as specified in Missouri's Wildlife Code," protection regional supervisor Ken West said in the release.

Dove hunting season begins Saturday. For 2012, the daily bag limit of doves is 15, with an overall possession limit of 30, the release said. For more information, visit
