CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A male subject was in custody pending charges of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Harvey E. Gaddy, 44, 15 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.

* Ricky O. Gamble Jr., 25, of Mounds Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges for rape and sodomy.

* William G. Beggs, 25, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of theft at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.

* Nellie A. Barnett, 41, 1739 Dunklin St., Apt. B, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court for failure to comply.

* Subjects were in custody pending formal charges of assault and theft at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.

* Joseph Russell Hurt, 24, no address given, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.

* Paul L Ayers, 37, 1131 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Nakita M. Grubbs, 21, 291 Estate Drive, Lot 143, and Taylor D. Weaver, 19, 618 Cordova Lane, were arrested for suspicion of stealing at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* A male subject was in custody pending charges of stealing at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* Melissa Bray, no age or address given, was arrested for suspicion of theft.

* Alexander Walker, no age or address given, was arrested on a Alexander County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

Summonses

* Jordan Rocke Duncan, 26, 1475 Kingsway Drive, was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.

* Cedric C. Moore, 19, 601 Minnesota Ave., was issued a summons for peace disturbance.

Assaults

* Assault and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

* Domestic assault and theft were reported.

Burglary

* Burglary and theft of shoes were reported at 525 S. Frederick St.

Thefts

* Theft was reported at 1400 West End Blvd.

* Theft of animals was reported at 830 Jefferson Ave.

* J.C. Penney, 3049 William St., reported clothing stolen.

* Electronics were reported stolen at 1400 S. West End Blvd., Lot 32.

* Electronics were reported stolen at 1511 Bloomfield St.

* Theft was reported at 2825 Bloomfield Road.

* A GPS unit, cordless drill and tape measure were reported stolen at 101 S. Pacific St.

* Theft of fuel was reported at Kidd's, 449 S. Kingshighway.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported merchandise stolen.

Miscellaneous

* Sodomy was reported.

* Rape and sodomy were reported.

* Child abuse and neglect were reported.

* Counterfitting was reported at McDonald's, 1925 Broadway.

* Counterfitting was reported at McDonald's, 1925 Broadway.
