Ill. railroad crossing work rescheduled

WARE, Ill. -- A road closure scheduled for Sept. 4 at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing on Highway 146 at Ware has been rescheduled for Sept. 17, according to a news release from the Illinois Department of Transportation. Union Pacific will make repairs to this crossing near the intersection of Highway 3 beginning at 7 a.m. The work is expected to take one day. Motorists are advised to follow marked detour routes. No traffic will be permitted through the construction area during the work period.
