Cape is getting ready to put their "Hunger Game" fix on GO,...and I don't want an arrow from a compound bow with a sharp point flying into my yard. That is a LETHAL arrow and it can't read... "NO TRESPASSING SIGNS". The ordinance seems to be more about sport hunting than herd control. By cutting down the herd population, you increase the food per remaining deer. This boosts the deers reproductive rate. Culling deer causes them to rebound,(called compensatory rebound effect), and the hunters come in next year claiming deer overpopulation again. The more deer food, the more deer. Deer debates are seldom, if ever, resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Than lets make it a doe only hunt and see how many want to hunt then. If you cannot shoot a bow in the city limites,because it is not safe than what makes it ok to have this hunt ? There is no risk here ? You will not solve the deer problem with a hunt , people need to learn to live with them . trap them and move them to another area that is what we pay for when we purchase our fishing and hunting permitts. If a few die from stress moving , they will for sure die from a arrow and a lot more of them . The white deer should be off limites to all , you sure can't say you didn't see them on the road side,they are visible from a long way off and beautiful to look at . Why is it 5 people get to make a decision for so many ? Aren't we all getting a little tired of other people telling us all how to live and believe in this country ?

Feed him better and he will look good on the wall and dinner table. Get to close at the wrong time and you will not think he is so beautiful.

Glad to know you're such a lousy shot you have to have such a nice big obvious target. I'll be sure to act impressed at your (complete lack of) skill when you show off that nice trophy head on your wall. Please, let me know if you require glasses, contacts, laser sights, or even someone else to make the shot for you. I would hate for you to miss out on your one and only claim to fame in this life.

@monk, no I am decent shot and I do not go hunting to shoot antlers I like venison. I go to shoot does in the head with a shoot gun no sights, to save the meat. Sir, Cape has a doe problem and arrows will fix it.

Good call there brother, I do wear glasses and my job has awarded me the expert badge for shooting good it is sort of what we do. Looking at your comment you are not a very smart, you think that people only hunt for a trophy. You are simply a person that is all wound up and you probably rake the yard every time a leaf falls in it.
