Tuesday, August 7, 2012

Southeast Missouri State junior forward Tyler Stone currently is in Brazil playing exhibition basketball with Sports Reach Sports Ministry.

Stone had an impressive opening game with his team Saturday. He scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds during a 100-70 victory.

Stone had an even better second game Sunday, posting a triple-double with 25 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocked shots as his squad romped 115-54.

Stone, who earned all-Ohio Valley Conference honors last season after leading Southeast in scoring and rebounding, is playing with other college players, including Murray State's Stacy Wilson.

Stone concludes his trip Friday.
