Paul Adam McCoy, 34, of Mesquite, Texas, formerly of Jackson, died Monday, June 25, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident in Mesquite.

He was born Oct. 31, 1977, in Cape Girardeau, to Gerald Arthur and Paula Joyce James McCoy Sr.

Adam was a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. He had previously worked at Rapco Horizon and Nordenia. He was currently employed by Scott's Lawn Service in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of GCW Wrestling, Dynamo Pro and Jackson Skate Center Rink Rats.

Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Paula McCoy of Jackson; two sons, Alex McCoy of Jackson, Allen McCoy of Balch Springs, Texas; a brother, Archie McCoy of Marble Hill, Mo.; grandparents, Estel and Lucille James of Marble Hill; and significant other, JoEtta McCoy of Balch Springs.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Allen McCoy and John Andrew McCoy; grandparents, Robert McCoy Sr. and Glenda McCoy.

Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loyd Ray Green officiating. Committal will be at a later date in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
