God in America

"God bless the USA." We are the nation that is land of the free, home of the brave, and yet we are a nation that is being told to honor a Christian God is politically incorrect. How is it that I must forgo my religious freedom so that someone else is not offended? There is a growing trend in America that should alarm us all; we have moved so far to the left we are balanced on the precipice of communism. Wake up, America. God better bless the USA because our politicians want to destroy the USA I was born in.

Reagan's solution

Ronald Reagan dealt with a serious recession by spending on public sector jobs to get the economy out of the doldrums. Many Republican members of Congress want to do this as well but will not take any action until they defeat President Obama. Then, they promise, they will once again start putting people ahead of politics. But can we afford to wait?

School vandalism

For several years I have watched one of my neighbors throw his yard refuse onto public school property, and the school employees have dutifully removed it. He has done it again this year, and I'm sure the school workers will take care of it. The money I pay for the school maintenance is not intended to accommodate people in the surrounding neighborhood. Just as it is illegal to use someone else's Dumpster, there is probably a law to cover this. I want school officials to know that not all your neighbors are like this and apologize for the continued vandalism by this one individual.

Obama had nothing to do with some of the Corporations making a profit he has never owned his own business and made a payroll. He is anti business the late Steve Jobs asked him this a couple years ago "Why are you so anti business". He fails to realize that without business you have no labor. Government does not create jobs in the first place the private sector does. When you have more people working in government than you have in the private sector now that is a problem and a sign of a big government with more increased borrowing and spending creating the debt even larger.

Mayor Bloomberg - big liberal mayor of NY City - said this past week that country would be better off if Romney was president.

Anyone can see that. He won't create jobs, but he will provide the confidence in business and consumers and that will create jobs.

The only jobs Obama has created are government jobs with $5 Trillion in deficit spending. A 10 year old could borrow that much money and create some jobs. Now, how do we pay that money back Mr. Obama?

God in America: This last Sunday weren't you able to attend the church of your choice.

Reagan's solution: Can we afford to wait till next January which is another 7 mos. of doing nothing.

Corporate profits: Have you just awakened from a 50 yr. coma. Inflation has caused most everything to be higher today than in the 60s.

Hunting comment: Make the great Cape deer hunt part of the summer Olympics and let the world's top archers come to Cape for the hunt.

Police work: They do what they do when they do.

Lets see if I am correct...for four months a year, bow hunting of deer will be allowed. So wlking dogs or kids playing out near any wooded area wil be extremely dangerous. To obtain a

hunting permit you will need to sit thro a boring "class". Children as young as 11 will be permited if they, too, have "passed "this test. Since we dont know how many deer Cape has now, I guess there will be no limit as to how many deer are slaughtered.

"But Mr. Bloomberg said he could not support Mr. Romney because he disagreed with him on so many social issues, these two people said. The mayor mentioned two such issues: abortion rights and gun control." New York Times

Gee Dug...did ya miss that part?

Today is the first day of Summer.....year 2012 was a year without Spring, what is wrong with Mother Nature.

Theorist, Dug likes to "share" only the parts that fit his agenda. Oh, and yesterday I found out he also likes kool-aid.

Gee Dug...did ya miss that part? -- Posted by Theorist on Wed, Jun 20, 2012, at 9:44 AM

What did I post that was untrue? He said that the country would be better off with Romney. Even a liberal knows that. The only reason he won't be supporting him is because he wants abortion on demand paid for by us and no guns. I suppose you support those positions?

So in the name of abortion-on-demand and denying constitution gun rights he won't support Romney who he believes would run the country better.

Of course I share only the parts that fit my agenda. Are you new to the Missourian web site? That would be like you putting down your Obama kool aid and posting something against him. Ha!

Oh yea - nice deflection!

Point still remains - Big liberal NY City Mayor Bloomberg thinks Romney would be better for the country.

More? A top campaign bundler for Obama in 2008 from Chicago is now campaigning for Romney and raising as much money as he can.

The wheels are coming off the Obama bus.

-- Posted by Dug on Wed, Jun 20, 2012, at 11:26 AM

Oh Dug...if you read everything, you would know I have called the President on several things I didn't agree...mostly his 'over estimation' of what "he" could accomplish.

You are too closed to see that "anything but Obama" just got worse.

"John Hawkins, at Right Wing News, observed that, "Since Mitt Romney had a mediocre record of job creation as the governor of Massachusetts, he has touted his record of creating jobs at Bain Capital. He's noted time and again that he created 100,000 jobs at Bain."

Hawkins added that since Romney refused to say precisely how he calculated this, or what the numbers were from which he calculated it, or what assumptions he was using when calculating it, Hawkins himself looked at the historical record, and he estimated that Romney's net jobs-production at Bain had probably been closer to a loss of seven thousand jobs."

Neither Romney nor obama is going to create private sector jobs, nor is it their job to.

Tiwercs beat me to it. Only big government people believe it is the federal governments job to "create jobs". The only jobs that Obama can create are more government jobs. As he said last week - right after he said the private sector was OK - the problem with the economy is we need more state and local government taxpayer supported jobs. If those are the only jobs he thinks we need know wonder we're in financial trouble!
