If you think President Obama is a bad president, thank your lucky stars that Mrs. Hillary Clinton didn't get in there because they'd be teaching the kids about gay marriage in the schools now.
When is the Cape Girardeau Police Department going to start cleaning our parks up around here? I am trying to take my kids to swing and you've got some dude pulling out a marijuana cigarette right in front of them. We need to get rid of this trash around here. Start cleaning up the trash around the parks so the kids can play around here.
Sen. John McCain has defined President Obama's foreign policy as feckless, meaning weak. Most Americans give President Obama well-deserved high marks and are thankful because a President McCain would have embarked upon a crusade to reconstruct the entire world in a representative democracy satisfactory to him. The unintended consequences of McCain's crusade would have already caused the U.S. to collapse.
Beware, people of Cape Girardeau. There are groups of teenagers walking around casing out homes to find people not home so they can break in. Read the police report. Cape has a huge problem with juveniles breaking into homes. If you see anything suspicious at all, please call the police.
For the Democrat who doesn't like being called "deranged" by Limbaugh, you obviously are not very well read. Republicans and conservatives are being called much worse by liberal commentators and politicians. Trust me, I'm like Switzerland -- neutral as can be -- but I'm shocked at all the self-righteous indignation on the part of Democrats when they are, in fact, doing the same thing and worse.
When it comes to conducting the affairs of our nation's government, David Limbaugh recently deemed a long deceased member of the British nobility much smarter than some of the commoners who serve in America's government. To me, Limbaugh's snide comments smacked of a preference for monarchism over representative democracy and were very insulting to the American people.
Speaking about Limbaugh bust security. I think it is a crying shame. I think people are just plain jealous of him. He might not be perfect, but he is one of us. I just think it is terrible.
Honor vs. greed
It is hard to believe here in America we have this happening. Young men and women are signing up for more deployments to keep others from having to go and end up giving their lives in doing so. Yet here in America we have the greedy. They keep taking their tax breaks and wanting more, giving less. I can't believe we have such selfish people here in America who claim to be Americans.
Referring to the medical costs and how they've risen: I had two tests done: an MRI and I don't remember the name of the other one, but the total was $6,000 and it took about a half an hour.
Federal spending
Under President Obama, federal spending has risen at a slower rate than in the last 60 years.
Church open house
I really hope that the Hanover Lutheran folks will have another open house and tour. I am sorry I didn't read my paper last Sunday early enough, and I hope that they will do that again.

Obama's policies
What were you smoking when you had that vision?
Limbaugh column
"To me, Limbaugh's snide comments smacked of a preference for monarchism over representative democracy and were very insulting to the American people."
Did you ever stop to think you have to have a certain level of intelligence to be insulted? The American people have not been showing a high level of intelligence in their voting patterns this past 50 or so years.
Federal spending
"Under President Obama, federal spending has risen at a slower rate than in the last 60 years."
Were you collaborating with the "Obama Policies" caller when you 'theorized' that statement?
The dude who was smoking a marijuana cigarette in the park must of called in "Obama's policies" and "Federal spending" comments.
Limbaugh bust: zzzzzzz Limbaugh.
47 yrs. ago today I married my high school sweetheart.
Where in the world did the "Obama Policies" come from the caller must be from the west coast or the northeast.
Congratulaions to you and the Mrs, semo471.
Federal spending: Keynesian economics has proven itself once again as it did during the 1970's, there is no unemployment, just people without jobs.

Please have your reporters write about the President giving the UN control over our FOOD, WATER and LAND rights. Also research the ramifications of the LAW OF THE SEA TREATY Mr. Obama is working on signing. Mr. Obama and Hillary CLinton are working on an International Gun Basn. I believewith the LAW OF THE SEA we will not be able to drill for oil and coal will be considered toxic and a pollutent. iN ADDITION A GREAT PORTION OUR OIL PROFITS WILL BE GIVEN TO SUPPORT FOREIGH COUNTIRES There are energy companies right now making coal very clean and much more clean the nuclear plants. Please do a write up on a company Rexel, they are involved with the company that is working on providing this clean energy. This is what SOCIALism LOOKS LIKE.

Sioux,
If he parks in the driveway and starts necking tonight the neighbors may call the police. Hate to see him locked up on his 47th anniversary night.

Another false claim and alarmist scare tactic. Why can't you just enjoy good news and accept it! The glass is half full, BC, take a drink!
Oh No! I was the thirteenth poster! Ducking, looking behind my back and crawling into a corner...Hi Rick!
Theorist: I was just pointing out that Keynes was wrong. Remember when Nixon said "We are all Keynesians now" at the start of the seventies?
Perhaps you aren't old enough to remember the seventies. They were not great times for America.
Keynesian economics was wrong then, and it is wrong now. These are not great times for America.
I disagree BC. I realize you are certain you are correct. And where as I may not be an expert in the area, and Keynes might not be 100% correct, I see mega more problems with free market and fair trade.
Theorist, As we are taking about macro economics, most micro economics are free trade, we have never engaged in free trade at the macro level.
Before GW Bush jumped on the Keynesian train with Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi in 2007, the banking monetarists were fully in control; starting with Paul Volcker then Alan Greenspan and present Chairman of the FED Ben Bernanke. The Monetarists should be blamed for the collapse. Now it is on the shoulders of Keynesians since 2007. They appear to be bewildered. They tried throwing money into the economy and still the problem.
Years before the collapse, free marketeers were warning about what was coming. They were ignored.
Before we were arguing about Say, perhaps we should have paid him more attention. Production is the key to recovery. Government should not be an obstacle to recovery with more taxation, devaluing money, and welfare (non production).
Sioux & Wheels: Did one of you install a webcam at our house, how else do you know what happen ;-)
Wheels we better get the kleenex ready for Howdy his fellow social liberals are not doing to well in Wisconsin tonight.
Swamp,
