High school roundup: Moore, Tenkhoff combine to throw no-hitter for Oran baseball team

Oran's Kody Moore and Chance Tenkhoff combined to throw a five-inning no-hitter against Scott County Central on Wednesday.
Moore struck out eight and walked three over four innings before Tenkhoff pitched a perfect fifth inning to close the 17-1 road win.
Blake Carlyle drove in three runs, while Adam Schaefer and Jacob Priggel plated two apiece for Oran (8-2). Carlyle and Schaefer both scored three runs.
Tyler Masters scored the Braves' lone run, which came in the first inning.

Bryce Orf went 3 for 3 with a double for Perryville (6-2).

Libbi Schnurbusch recorded the hat trick and Allie Moldenhauer finished with two goals and four assists to lead the Pirates to victory at the Hillsboro tournament.
Miranda Stortz earned the shutout without making a save.
Courtney Borden scored twice, while Katlyn Lukefahr had a goal and an assist.
Brooke Moll scored once, while Natalie Gremaud had two assists and Mikayla Krauss finished with one helper.
St. Vincent scored a 350 at Union Hills Golf Course.
Two individuals plus best ball and a scramble score were used to determine the team score.
Levi Gotto and Kelly Welker tied for sixth place in the individual with 86s, while Welker and Tim Schumer took third in the best ball. Matt Prost and Josh Pingel scrambled for an 88.
Perryville won the nine-team meet at the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club.
Brett Schnurbusch took third place with a 10-over-par 82. Caleb Streiler was sixth with an 87.
