Central baseball ceremony
Thursday, April 12, 2012
On Wednesday, the Cape Girardeau Central High School baseball team will host Kelly High School at 4 p.m. at the Central baseball complex. This game has been dubbed the "Come Home to Central" game and is a part of the yearlong centennial celebration here at Central. On behalf of the Tigers baseball program, I would like to invite any Tigers baseball alumni and former players, coaches and managers to attend and be recognized before the game by decade. Hopefully, we will see players from the three state championship teams of 1954, 1962 and 1994, as well as many other players from the many Final Four, state playoff and district championship seasons. It should be a great time for all and a wonderful time to be a part of Central baseball and the Central centennial celebration. See you Wednesday!
Yours in baseball,
STEVE WILLIAMS, head baseball coach, Cape Girardeau Central High School
