Make and model: 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV

Owner(s): Linda and Bob Banger

Owner's hometown: Burfordville Missouri

Names of people in photo: N/A

Special features:

"Lipstick Edition" Less than 75 of this edition sold in 1976. Red/white leather interior with red carpet in passenger and trunk areas. 460 cubic inch V/8-Very thirsty, but a wonderful ride.

My car's name: "Lipstick"

How I fell in love with my ride:

We were looking for a nice older car and bought this based on photo's on the web. We had it shipped from Thosand Oaks California. The car has less than 25,000 miles on it.

Good afternoon! I was just googling information for this lipstick edition car, because my father is the owner of the one in this story and I am trying to find father's day ideas that might relate to his new 'toy'. When was this little feature published? Is the date correct, 4/6/12? My parents know nothing about this and regularly subscribe to the SEMissourian and read these features. As well, there is no photo accompanying the feature as I have come to expect in similar regular features. Is this an item that has yet to be published in print where mom and dad can see it? I know it would make them so proud to have this published for them and their friends to see and admire. Please advise.
