THE CIGAR INDUSTRY NOW HAS A CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Based in Ft. Lauderdale yet First Member in Cape Gerardeau

Cigar Chamber of Commerce was filed with the Secretary of State in Florida by The South Florida Foundation, Inc. on March 23rd 2012 by President Jay Shapiro. The objective of Cigar Chamber of Commerce is multi fold. First and foremost; to preserve and or enhance the rights of cigar smokers, the industry, and related entities by lobbying congress, creating public awareness campaigns and supporting scientific studies about cigar smoking as a gourmet hobby rather than a targeted addiction. Secondly Cigar Chamber plans to create opportunities for business & social networking amongst members by providing networking and gourmet pairing events and finally to support and get involved with local philanthropic endeavors to give back to the local community through donations, chamber member manpower, PR, and fundraiser events.

Cigar Chamber is based in Ft. Lauderdale Florida yet plans to offer memberships nationwide and in fact its first ever member is not based in South Florida yet the small town of Cape Girardeau which happens to be home to cigar lover Rush Limbaugh yet no relation to Cigar Chamber Founding Member: Scott Pietreface with Fumatore di Sigaro. "Fumatore di Sigaro" is a Premiere Lounge & Cigar Shoppe featuring 40+ brands of cigars, accessories, and cigar club memberships. Membership benefits include: access to poker table, smoking lounge, and the privilege to bring, store & consume alcohol on site yet no alcohol is ever sold at the establishment.

To commemorate the launch of Cigar Chamber of Commerce while still honoring the first ever member, Cigar Chamber and Fumatore di Sigaro mutually agreed to host Cigar Chamber's Inaugural event at the cigar bar.
