Mo. lawmakers approve health care legislation

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Employers could refuse to provide health insurance coverage for birth control under legislation approved Thursday by the Missouri Senate, while the House passed a separate measure that would permit health care workers to refuse to participate in procedures that violate their ethical or religious beliefs.
