High school roundup: Dexter rallies in sixth to hand Oran baseball team season's first loss

Dexter scored four runs in the sixth inning to earn an 8-5 win over the Oran baseball team Tuesday.
Seth Ressel took the loss in relief.
Kody Moore, who started on the mound for Oran (2-1), went 2 for 3 at the plate.
Alex Cliff earned the win in relief for Dexter.
Woodland 10, Clearwater 7
Dylan Miller broke a sixth-inning tie with a two-out, three-run double to help the Cardinals win at home.
Miller's hit came with the score tied at 5-5 and was part of an eight-run inning for Woodland (2-1).
Landon Johnson, who went 3 for 4, added two doubles and recorded a save on the mound.
Aaron Yount picked up the win in relief.

Ethan Mirly threw a complete game and had two hits to help the Crusaders win their home opener.
Mirly allowed four hits, walked six and struck out nine.
Trent Steffens and Clayton Fritsche both had doubles for Saxony (2-2).
Steffens finished with three RBIs.
The Crusaders lost at Bloomfield 6-1 on Monday. Jon Winkler had three hits in the defeat.

Crader aces hole
Jackson golf team member Zach Crader fired a hole-in-one on a women's par 4 during a practice round Tuesday at Kimbeland Country Club.
Crader, a junior, hit a driver on the 266-yard hole. Teammates Drew Hosp, Conner Thrower and Adam Way witnessed the shot.
St. Vincent 3, Fredericktown 0
The Indians improved to 4-0 with a road victory.
Holly Blandford and Courtney Brown both netted goals in the first half, while Holly Cissell scored after the intermission.
Morgan Leible, Abby Ruessler and Blandford had assists.
Katie Mattingly made six saves in goal for her second shutout of the season.

Nicole Hemmann scored twice to lead the Crusaders to a road win.
Abby Hadler scored a goal and assisted on another, while Sarah Winningham added one assist.

Denai Arnzen had three triples and a double in the Wildcats' five-inning win at home.
Ashlyn Bucher added a homer and a double, while Dana Thiele also had a home run. Shelbee Miller, Taylor Eftink, Thiele and Bucher all finished with two hits.
Winning pitcher Caitlin Petty struck out six and allowed three hits.
