Highway 51 reduced for bridge work

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 51 in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews replace bridge rails. This section of roadway is between County Road 800 and County Road 802, and will be controlled by temporary signals 24 hours a day. Weather permitting, the work will begin at 8 a.m. Monday and will end by 3 p.m. Wednesday.
