Cape's Chelsea Willett will play college softball

Cape Central High School's Chelsea Willett will be heading to Canton, IL, with an athletic scholarship to attend college and play softball for Spoon River College. Chelsea played 3rd base and was cleanup batter for the Tigers, with a batting average of 225. "She was a leader on and off the field and grew exponentially as a person and player," said Coach Blattel. "She was a tremendous asset to the team and will be missed."
