What do you love about your work?

Knowing that doing your job properly can have a significant impact in improving the health and lives of those people made vulnerable by accident or disease. Through balancing the needs of a diverse group of highly intelligent people and coordinating their activities, it's incredibly rewarding to see that together the results are greater than any one person could achieve and become the end product to benefit our patients.

What community issue/cause is most important to you and why?

The economic development of the area we serve. With the building of a new state-of-the-art hospital now under way, the completion of four-lane Highway 67 and a proposed large-scale, multiuse retail development at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway 60, Poplar Bluff is in the enviable position of having the infrastructure and support services ready and available to experience explosive economic growth. The future success of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical can be much brighter with such large-scale economic growth.
