Bob Parker recieves the "REAL" Conservationist award from Russell Wood, President of the Property Rights Congress for his years of work on property rights and agricultural issues speaking at many events and committee hearings.

Emerson's campaign slogan is, "putting people, before politics. Seems she is putting politics before people now. I just personally called Emersons cell number and left a message. I asked for the facts regarding any lies or personal attacks on her family. I said I certainly did not in any way want to do that, could she please tell me what I had done? I was called back by a staffer who said Emerson will stand by her statement. When I asked what lies was she talking about? He said Emerson did not want to discuss it.

As for not raising large amounts of campaign cash. The Republican party in Missouri is run by Lloyd Smith. I have asked for access to the contributors to the Republican party and "voter vault". I have been denied. Mr. Smith is the former Chief of Staff for Emerson. I will continue to take my campaign to the voters. It is very hard to take on an incumbent without party support, as a matter of fact, almost impossible. However, we will do the impossible just as we did last time getting 35% of the primary vote and I believe we will win in 2012 as these issues continue to be talked about. I call this sweat equity campaigning, I campaign, and Emerson sweats.

Emerson has one of the most liberal voting records in the Republican House. She does not represent the values of this conservative district. I know many are surprised when I say this because Emerson writes about very conservative positions. She says one thing here and votes another way in Washington. She does support our second amendment rights and supports veterans, of which I am thankful.

Our economy is in a shambles and Emerson's record is part of the problem. Bailouts, Union Bailouts, embryonic stem cell research with taxpayer dollars, job killing trade deals, Cash for Clunkers, repeal of Glass/Stegall that helped lead to the banking crisis and on and on. Yes, your "conservative" Rep. Emerson has voted for all of this and much more. What are my solutions? Free markets, FAIR trade, standing up to China, defund the regulators destroying the private sector, cut spending, develop American energy sources, stop the bailouts, getting rid of the IRS, sound money. These are part of the solutions to our problems.

We need a debate on these and many other important issues. Emerson won't because she does not want the voters to know her record or know who I am and what I stand for.

Maybe Rush Limbaugh will jump on this or his brother David, or Sean Hannity or Mark Levin? Maybe Sara Palin will help, or Freedomworks, or ...

Rep. Emerson retains her seat well for someone who "does not represent the values of this conservative district."

It would seem that the majority of voters strongly disagree with your assessment; but since your article suggests they continuously duped (i.e, they're stupid), why wouldn't they....

What a whiner. He knows that the state Republican Party does not get involved in primaries. He also knows that the list of Republican contributors is a matter of public record. All he has to do is ask for it. Finally, I guess he opposes highway construction in the District because his cited website is critical of Jo Ann for supporting highway construction. Why would anyone want to debate such a distortionist?

Most elected officials get elected by being constructive and having a vision for the future. They believe that it is possible to achieve bigger and better things and attaining never before reached heights. They are the ones that say "it is possible" and inspire us to do it, Not the ones that stand up and say, "kill the general" because he disagrees with me.

Contributor lists are definitely public record. I just looked up the contributions from individuals in the last election cycle for both Jo Ann and Bob. Bob listed 22 individuals that gave him money. Jo Ann listed over 300. I could see each and every one of their names. I could also see the totals (Bob 38K, Jo Ann over $1 million). According to this it sure looks like she represents the values of this conservative district, otherwise the campaign contributions of this district would not continue to support her.

Not one of you can defend JoAnn's record. Typical good ole boys. Why don't you smart guys do some research on your precious JoAnn and put your country above friendship. 1 million for 65% and 38,000 for 35%. Bob made out like a bandit! Desparation is calling someone a liar without evidence. Do you guys read Sal Alinsky?

The message is spreading like wildfire. You will have a new Congrssman in 2012!

Voting records are vindicated at the ballot box. The candidate with the most votes wins, whether it is 65%, 99%, or 51%. Is it August yet?

There has never been in recorded history such a spectacular failure as the U.S. federal government's shortfall of the oath taken to the Constitution. Every day, in every way, the Constitution is trod upon, bent, twisted, ignored, and discounted.

In honor of it being (for 4 more minutes) the 220th anniversary of the Bill of Rights, I'd ask you all to ponder why Mrs. Emerson might have voted yes on H.R. 1540 yesterday, which will allow for indefinite detention of U.S. citizens (sections 1031 and 1032), in violation of AT LEAST Amendments 4, 5, and 6.

Time to clean the House.

I would think that Emerson supporters would want to see a debate between Emerson and Bob Parker as much as anyone. Give the "Vindicated" Emerson a chance to mop the floor with Parker once and for all,,,, if she can.

Hiding from a confrontation with an opponent is the tactic of a coward with much to hide.

Refusing to answer questions from constituents is the tactic of a tyrant.

Emerson should hang her head in shame voting for the bill that destroys our rights to trial. Time to speak up for freedom and the Constitution. If you were Emerson would you want to debate this with Bob Parker?
