Missouri Running Co.'s second store in Cape Girardeau, MO, at 1131 N. Kingshighway, opened in February 2010, serving the Southeast Missouri and southern Illinois regions. The Managers of the store, Kim and Byan Kelpe, have developed a significant customer base of dedicated runners, walkers and triathletes -- and we've outgrown our current space! So on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, Missouri Running Co.'s Cape Girardeau store is moving to a brand new location! We will be officially open at the new location, at 1720 Kingsway Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO, on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. An official Grand Opening is planned for January, 2012.

As Store Manager Kim Kelpe explains, "we had the opportunity to move into the LaCroix Shopping Center, which is conveniently located at the northern most end of the Cape Girardeau bike/run/hike trail, immediately northeast of the intersection of N. Kingshighway and Mt. Auburn/Lexington roads. The shopping center is brand new and we have doubled our store space, which will allow us the ability to display more shoes, clothing and accessories to better serve the active community of Cape Girardeau and surrounding communities. We are excited for our customers to see our big, bright, new store!"

The new location, at 1720 Kingsway Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 will retain the same telephone number -- 573-803-1193. The web page, www.morunco.com, will direct customers to the new address for our Cape Girardeau store.
